Wags since early 2021. I began as a bather in 2010, in 2014 I began my grooming apprenticeship and became a groomer. Some of my favorite breeds to groom are malti-poos and other mixed breeds. I absolutely enjoy completing de-sheds and silhouette cuts, leaving sporting (and similar) breeds in their more natural states and easier to manage for their owners. I work on the belief of “Humanity before vanity”, meaning I will always put the dog's safety and well-being, before aesthetics. I believe that all dogs should be on a good maintenance schedule for their health, well -being and comfort. I enjoy improving my creative grooming and dyeing skills, on dogs that are comfortable with the process and are well maintained on a regular basis and I hope to join creative grooming competitions in the future. I believe that dogs NEED to build a trusting relationship with their groomers and the grooming process and always try to keep dogs working with me on my schedule as much as possible, so there is always a face they recognize and trust for their groom. I work with many difficult dogs and puppies and believe it is a team effort on making grooming pleasant and safe, the team being me the groomer, the owner and the dog itself. I believe in using top of the line products that we can trust and continuing my education on a regular basis. I am Pet CPR and First Aid Certified and have taken Skin and Coat 101 and Advanced courses, to keep your dogs safe and improve the health of their skin and coat. Now on to the fun stuff!! My favorite colors are red and black. My favorite movies, well they range from Shawn of the Dead to Encanto to The Exorcist to Elf, I like well written stories and movies in general! My favorite sweets are chocolate cake, cookies and cream cake (shout out to the Marietta Diner!) and Vanilla Honey Ice Cream (A shout out to Jenni’s Ice Cream!) and Tollhouse Double Chocolate Chip Cookies. Favorite snacking restaurants are Duck Donuts, Starbucks and Chick-fil-A. I love brunch and finding new restaurants in the area. My goal is to travel the globe and visit ALL the Walt Disney World Parks one day!
